Requirements:
- Install inverters, solar panels, and mount hardware while ensuring compliance with blueprints
- Connecting panels to the grid, wiring batteries, and setting up electrical panels
- Repairs/ replaces, and tests associated electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Troubleshoots electrical wiring and components.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices .
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Weekend availability
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 + years of Electrical experience required.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, specifically article 690 for solar PV systems
- Residential/Solar electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test PV related electrical circuits and associated equipment.
- Ability to work at heights, lift 50lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Ability to read residential electrical blueprints and understand apply NEC codes as applicable.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to work on roofs and in attics.
- Ability to work well with others with a strong focus on teamwork.
- Training and certifications will be provided.
