Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Weekend Care Coordinator to support client care operations every Saturday and Sunday. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients, caregivers, and internal team members to ensure schedules are maintained, urgent staffing needs are addressed, and service issues are resolved promptly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate caregiver schedules and respond to call-offs or coverage needs.
- Communicate with clients, families, and caregivers regarding scheduling updates.
- Monitor and resolve weekend service issues and escalations.
- Document care coordination activities and updates in company systems.
- Collaborate with weekday teams to ensure smooth handoff of outstanding items.
- Support client service continuity and caregiver engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare coordination, scheduling, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with scheduling or healthcare software is a plus.
- Must be based in the Chicago metropolitan area.
