Job Description

CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a a Code / Covenants Inspector for its community in Laurel, MD.

The Code / Covenants Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for HOA violations pertaining to maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. The Covenants Inspector will use their own vehicle; however, mileage will be reimbursed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Travel to community sites to conduct walk throughs and site inspections.

- Ensure HOA Rules and Regulations are followed, and maintenance is being done property.

- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints.

- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.

- Take notes, document findings, submit reports to GM and Board of Directors, follow-up to ensure violations and maintenance concerns are corrected.

- Other duties as assigned.

Pay rate: $22 an hour.

Requirements

- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.

- Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).

- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.

- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).

- Professional customer service skills.

- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.

- Time management, time critical prioritization skills, and attention to detail.

- Must have reliable transportation as well as a valid Drivers License.
