## Short Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Work with the Senior Director, Medical Education & Sales Training, APAC and the Director, Medical Education, Japan to implement APAC Intra-Regional Surgeon Visitation in Japan, APAC Center of Excellence Programs in Japan, and managing faculty engagement requests from outside Japan.

## Long Description

APAC Intra-Regional Surgeon Visitations in Japan

- Manage and track intra-regional visitation requests submitted to the Zimmer Biomet Institute (ZBI)
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to validate requests and coordinate visitation plans
- Ensure visiting surgeons complete all required documentation and receive necessary pre-reading or preparatory materials
- Collect and review post-visitation feedback to support continuous improvement
- Maintain faculty databases, including hospital requirements, operating schedules, products, techniques, and related information.
- Execute compliance, travel, and event logistics in accordance with ZBI protocols
- Oversee event registration processes and maintain visitation information through systems such as CVENT, Medispend, and Concur
- Maintain records and documentation in compliance with Global Policies and Procedures
- Process faculty payments, back-charging activities, and HCP expenses in alignment with budgets, policies, and compliance requirements
- Support the annual recontracting of ZBI Japan faculty and the collection of related documentation
- Process departmental expenses through approved finance systems in accordance with financial protocols

## Long Description

Faculty Engagement Requests from outside Japan

- Review and manage APAC requests for the engagement of Japan faculty outside the Japan region
- Provide guidance to the APAC team on suitable faculty and detail their areas of expertise, compensation frameworks, and local financial processes for HCP payments
- Serve as the primary contact for Japan faculty during engagement planning, facilitating connections with APAC stakeholders as required
- Monitor each faculty engagement, ensuring the faculty member is informed and supported throughout the process

## Your Background

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)

- Excellent English and Japanese communication skills, both oral and written and interpersonal skills are required to interact in a diverse, challenging environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Understanding of multimedia materials and techniques is expected.
- PC skills in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications required.
- Able to work effectively with others in a matrix environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage a demanding workload.
- Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships within and outside of the organization.
- Available to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Education/ Experience Requirements

- Tertiary level qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience in events organization and administration preferably in the healthcare industry.
