The role and its impact on   Verisure   Technology

The Compliance & ESG Strategy team plays a key role in embedding sustainability and regulatory compliance into   Verisure’s   Technology ecosystem.

We are looking for a   motivated and analytically strong intern   to support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modelling and product sustainability initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying environmental methodologies to real technology products, working closely with R&D, Procurement, and suppliers.

You will contribute to building robust Life Cycle Inventories (LCI), modelling environmental impacts using specialised LCA software, and supporting decision-making by   providing   actionable sustainability insights across our product portfolio.

Main   Responsibilities

- Support the collection, structuring, and validation of Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data in collaboration with R&D, Procurement, and external suppliers

- Assist   in the modelling of LCAs using   specialised   software ( e.g.   SimaPro ,   GaBi ,   OpenLCA   or equivalent)

- Understand product ar ch itecture   and translate into LCA models

- Contribute to the interpretation of LCA results,   identifying   environmental hotspots and improvement opportunities

- Engage with suppliers to collect technical and environmental data   required   for lifecycle modelling

- Work with R&D teams to understand product architecture (components, materials, electronics) and translate it into LCA models

- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability considerations into product development processes

- Support the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate LCA insights

- Ensure data traceability, consistency, and methodological robustness

Experiences & Qualifications

- Final year or   Mast er’s   student in one of the following fields:

- Electronic Engineering / Product Design Engineering (with interest in sustainability and materials)

- Industrial /Environmental   Engineering

- Chemical Engineering

- Basic understanding of   Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)   methodology   (ISO 14040/44)

- Exposure (academic or internship) to   LCA tools/software   is a strong plus

- Strong analytical skills and structured thinking

- Ability to work with data (Excel   required )

- High level   of proactivity and ability to work across teams

- Strong communication   skills (supplier interaction is part of the role)

- Fluent in English
