Salary: Up to £26,800 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week no weekends, Overtime - during Evening and weekends possible

Your Role:

- You will be managing the Mechanical Transport Fuel Installation, ensuring the safe storage and handling of fuel and lubricant products in line with current regulations.
- You will be demanding, issuing and monitoring fuel and lubricant products, ensuring only authorised personnel receive them.
- You will be carrying out routine compliance, fire safety and site inspections, maintaining accurate records and reporting risks, defects, incidents or spills.
- You will be maintaining safety documentation, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health registers, safety data sheets, certificates and key records.
- You will be ensuring the fuel and lubricant point, vehicle wash stations, spill kits and surrounding areas are safe, clean, compliant and well maintained.
- You will be supporting inspections, responding to reasonable management requests and contributing to a safe working environment through first aid and fire marshal responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

- Qualifications: You will have basic information technology skills, including emails, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, together with good verbal communication skills and a full driving licence.
- Experience: You will be a strong team member who can prioritise your own workload, support colleagues when required and work independently for extended periods in a flexible and hardworking manner.
- Skills: You will be able to work safely, follow regulations and procedures, maintain accurate records and communicate effectively while supporting a compliant fuel and lubricant operation.
