About this role

Your role in our team

- You ensure system functionality and performance by implementing controls that fulfill contractual obligations

- You lead and support project managers in minimizing project risk and executing projects within the defined budget

- You oversee integration tasks for material handling systems and provide expert guidance

- You provide technical support to the organization, mainly PM and SIM, and report deviations and improvements

- You ensure all required functions are tested and accepted by the customer

- You execute PLC programming and prepare CX-planner for onsite testing

- You test against emulation before going onsite

- You deliver technical solution content, PLC code, and automation documentation

- You provide input regarding pricing of deliverables and automation hours

- You secure technical feedback and participate in expert reviews (MS2a & MS2b) to ensure delivery of the best viable solution

- You prepare, commission, and document PLC engineering tasks

- You manage PAC/FAC processes

- You collaborate with the Head of Automation department, project managers, system integration managers, other departments in project execution, R&D, and customers

Your profile

- You have a diploma degree in Electrical, Controls, Software Engineering, or equivalent

- You are a proficient user, preferably a super user, of Siemens programs

- You can easily work with peripheral devices and equipment

- You are able to work independently as well as in teams

- You have extensive experience in PLC controls engineering

- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills at different levels

- You are proficient in spoken and written English

- You demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills (time management)

- You have a structured and systematic approach to troubleshooting

- You are able to analyze programming code, data, and information

- You are willing to travel 100–150 days a year
