About this role
The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of clinical documentation within the patient health record to support quality patient care, accurate coding, appropriate reimbursement, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. This position serves as a liaison between clinical, coding, and quality teams to improve documentation that reflects the true clinical picture and severity of illness, while ensuring compliance with CMS, state, and facility guidelines.
