The purpose of this role is to drive strategic business development by establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a strong market presence. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the strategy, execution, and performance of channels to enhance customer relationships and loyalty, with P&L responsibility for the channel's growth, profitability, and overall management.

Your New Role
- Manage and deliver the annual new business target
- Develop and share MI data to influence business decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulations and requirements
- Underwrite new business and renewals for selected products
- Establish and develop relationships with key clients
- Monitor client feedback and market requirements
- Learn about new products and commission structures to enhance client relationships
- Coach and mentor team performance to achieve targets
- Significant relevant experience in general servicing and underwriting
About You
- Professional qualification in insurance or related disciplines preferred
- A Tertiary Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, influence brokers and develop long-term distribution partnerships
- Commercial mindset with confidence in identifying new business opportunities, negotiating outcomes and supporting profitable growth
- Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present solutions, manage expectations and respond effectively to broker and client needs
