We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team as our next MDS Coordinator . If you enjoy clinical documentation, quality improvement, care planning, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a consistent daytime schedule.
Schedule:
✔ Full-Time ✔ Monday-Friday ✔ 8:00 AM-4:30 PM ✔ Primarily day shift hours ✔ Weekend on-call rotation as assigned
Salary:
$90,000-$100,000 annually

What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and complete all MDS assessments and resident care plans
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
- Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings with residents and families
- Monitor CMS Quality Measures and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and rehabilitation teams
- Support Medicare reimbursement accuracy through complete documentation
- Participate in QAPI initiatives and survey readiness
- Assist with policy development, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Help maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- MDS experience required
- Strong knowledge of MDS regulations and submission process
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
