About this role

Company Description

We’re Hiring: Veterinary Kennel Technician (Professional Pet Spoiler & Clean-Up Champion!)

Do muddy paw prints feel like nature’s confetti? Can you tell the difference between a  “feed me”  bark and an  “I demand cuddles now”  bark? If so—we need you!

Wieuca Animal Clinic  is a progressive, 5-doctor companion animal practice serving Sandy Springs, GA for generations. We offer comprehensive care including preventative medicine, digital full-body and dental radiology, in-house diagnostics, dentistry, and emergency services. We pride ourselves on a collaborative, client-partnered approach to care—plus a fun, supportive team culture (and yes, our building used to be a donut shop 🍩).

Located just minutes from Atlanta, Sandy Springs offers the perfect blend of city convenience and outdoor living, with parks, trails, and access to the Chattahoochee River—plus top-rated schools and a strong community feel.

Come check us out! Between our team culture, quality medicine, and unbeatable location, we think you’ll feel right at home.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:
● Providing top-tier TLC to hospitalized pets
● Feeding, walking, cuddling, and reassuring furry guests
● Cleaning kennels so well they sparkle like a freshly bathed Samoyed
● Monitoring pet health and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
● Assisting technicians and doctors when needed
● Becoming best friends with at least 3 dogs and 2 cats per shift (unofficial requirement)

Qualifications

You Might Be Our Person If You:
● Aren’t afraid of fur on your scrubs (it’s basically glitter)
● Can handle enthusiastic tail wags and the occasional dramatic Chihuahua
● Are calm, patient, and kind — even when someone hisses at you
● Have experience working with animals (preferred, but we’ll train the right human!)

Perks of the Job:
● Unlimited slobbery kisses
● Daily dose of puppy breath
● The satisfaction of helping pets feel safe and loved
● A team that supports each other like a well-trained pack
● Learning opportunities if you're considering a future in veterinary medicine

Important Notes:
This job is active! Expect lifting (up to 50 lbs), lots of walking, cleaning, and the occasional
“surprise” mess. It’s not always glamorous — but it’s always meaningful.

If you’re ready to trade a quiet desk for wagging tails and happy purrs, we’d love to meet you
