About this role

Summary:

Coordinates activities related to machining production, deburr, and assembly. Troubleshoots machine issues. Ensures that safety, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate work assignments with crew chiefs

- Discuss production issues with other departments to minimize delays

- Assist crew members with troubleshooting and resolving issues

- Ensure that all safety, quality, and delivery policies and procedures are followed

- Monitor and manage the perishables expenses for the crew

- Facilitate team building between crews and shifts

- Mentor, coach, and motivate crew to maximize crew satisfaction, efficiency, and effectiveness

- Track movement of parts through area

- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts

- Model desired traits

- Accept and adapt easily to change

- Support all Company policies and procedures

- Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement

- Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation

- Ability to make sound decisions regarding quality concerns and escalate issues appropriately

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and customer requirements

- Ability to identify and document nonconforming conditions and follow established quality procedures

- Working knowledge of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and basic dimensional inspection

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions

Qualifications

Requirements:

- High School diploma or GED preferred

- 5+ years of experience with multi-axis single or multi-spindle CNC machining, including at least 1 year of experience as a supervisor

- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance)

- Language: Read, write, and speak English fluently

- Math: Proficient with basic shop math

- Sense of urgency

- Ability to manage competing priorities

- Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines
