DATAmundi is seeking an on-site Moderator based in or near San Francisco to support a paid opportunity for a leading global technology client with a large-scale, in-person video data collection study.
Project Overview
- This is a paid indoor study where participants will record short video sessions using a secure data collection app on client-provided devices.
- The goal is to collect high-quality video data to help improve AI systems in a responsible, inclusive, and representative way.
Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Guide participants through the full collection process and ensure all instructions are followed correctly.
- Manage recordings and provide support with any technical or procedural issues during sessions.
- Assist with setting up, operating , and organizing onsite equipment and materials.
- O rganize and transfer collected data at the end of each session.
- Be present onsite during working hours to support live participant sessions in a professional and organized manner.
- Provide regular progress updates and escalate any issues to the Project Manager.
- Support special collection scenarios and assist with preparation tasks when required .

- Maintain the collection area in a clean, organized, and ready-to-use condition.
- Ensure all required participant consent documentation is completed before sessions begin.
Engagement Details
- Commitment: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (weekend availability might be required)
- Location: On-site in San Francisco and/or surrounding area
- Project start date: September 14th
- Estimated duration: approximately 1.5 -2 months
- Current target end date: around the end of October, depending on overall team productivity
- Payment: 25 USD per hour

This is an in-person indoor study - San Francisco
Part-time moderators or candidates with limited availability will not be a fit; we are specifically looking for people who can commit through the expected end of the project, as continuity and consistent availability are important for maintaining workflow efficiency and meeting delivery timelines.
