Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and inspire your team alongside the Market Manager to exceed sales targets and operational goals while ensuring a welcoming and organized retail environment
- Foster strong customer relationships by resolving escalations, listening actively and utilizing proven sales techniques to retain and upgrade customers
- Ensure the store upholds Spectrum’s brand standards and delivers outstanding sales and customer care
- Assess sales behaviors and product knowledge, collaborating with management to drive improvements and embrace change
- Identify sales and operational issues, developing actionable strategies to enhance store performance
- Provide subject matter expertise on store functions, Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and service features, including insights on competitors
- Maintain operational excellence in store appearance, inventory management and staffing while minimizing losses
- Support employee engagement by onboarding, training and retaining top talent and managing team schedules
- Deliver daily coaching and feedback through various forums to promote continuous learning and high performance
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including inventory and cash management
Working Conditions
- Operate in a retail environment with hours spanning seven days a week, including holidays
- Work amid moderate noise levels
- Be available to your team during store hours and travel to other locations as needed
- Handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Adhere to uniform attire and appearance requirements

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to build effective partnerships within all areas of the organization by exhibiting solid interpersonal leadership, influencing and presentation skills
- Experience working inside a destination-style retail environment
- Proven ability to lead others and motivate them to succeed sales culture
- High comfort level with all forms of technology; including mobile devices and video platforms
- Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications
- Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks/projects and handle change effectively
- Ability to make qualitative judgements
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience
- 1+ years of management in a sales or customer service retail environment
- 1+ years of telecommunications or wireless experience
- 3+ years of sales or customer service experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a destination-style retail environment
Skills
- Some experience implementing sales training and employee development programs
- Some knowledge of identifying sales trends and risks and communicate findings to management
- Proven change management abilities
