About this role
Cherry Bekaert Staffing and Recruiting is searching for a Hands-On Accounting Manager for a project-based opportunity outside of Richmond, VA .
Candidate should be available to be on site 3 days per week from 8:30-5 for approximately 2-4 months .
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Hands-on reconciliations and journal entries into the ERP system
- Variance analysis
- Tasks for year-end
- Audit readiness
- Responding to requests from external auditors
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates should have the following background:
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- Self-directed personality
- Ability to take the ball and get work accomplished
- NetSuite experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to be comfortable with hands on experience directed from Controller and Asst. Controller
- Good technical skills in software and Microsoft Suite
