Position Overview
The Head Varsity Girls Squash Coach is responsible for the overall leadership, development, and management of the varsity squash program. This includes coaching, program planning, and supporting the academic, personal, and athletic growth of student-athletes. The coach will work collaboratively with the Athletic Director and other members of the athletics department to ensure alignment with school goals and policies.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the varsity squash program
Develop and implement effective training, conditioning, and skill development plans
Prepare student-athletes for practices, matches, and postseason competition
Promote high standards of conduct, accountability, and team culture
Ensure compliance with all school, league, and governing body regulations
Collaborate with the Athletic Director, coaches, faculty, and staff to support departmental goals
Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes
Assist in program evaluation, development, and long-term planning
Foster positive relationships with students, families, and the school community
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, or club level preferred
Strong knowledge of squash fundamentals, match strategy, and player development
Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Commitment to fostering a culture of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Familiarity with interscholastic squash competition and governing bodies preferred
