Waste Connections, Inc. is looking for a Inside Sales Representative to join our GROWING Honey Brook, PA market area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively over email and phone with customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries- via phone and email to resolve customer issues.
- Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements, resolve issues, or complaints.
- Sufficient understanding of RMO and ARES, preferred.
- Coordinate the setup and installation of new accounts.
- Creates and closes out work orders.
- Analyze accountancy activity and suggest opportunities for service improvements to the customer.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, per company policy and internal controls.
- Reconcile customer balances and perform customer audits.
- Understand customers’ aging balances and our local collections policy.
- Reach out to Broker Accounts with any past due balances
- Understand broker contract language such as, price increases, terms and conditions, service increases/decreases.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly explain products and services to customers.
- Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience working with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling inbound sales inquiries.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Prior inside sales, customer service, or call center experience preferred.
- Physical ability: Able to complete sedentary work requiring prolonged sitting, able to complete repetitive motions such as typing/mouse use/operating a phone, ability to look at a screen for long periods of time, tolerate exposure to typical call center sounds and wearing a headset.
