Role Overview

As an Asst-Oral Surgery, you will play a vital role in supporting oral surgeons during medical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to the overall success of surgical interventions. Your work directly impacts patient outcomes and the efficiency of our surgical team, making this role essential to our mission of providing exceptional care.

What You Will Do

- Assist in the preparation and set-up for surgical procedures in both office and hospital operating rooms.
- Monitor patients and assist with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures in hospital and outpatient office settings.
- Discuss post-operative instructions for care and management with patients.
- Relay post-operative complications or questions to the surgeon.
- Maintain surgical equipment to ensure it is in optimal condition for procedures.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Dental Assistant credentialed from the Michigan Board of Dentistry.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
