Job Title: Production Control Supervisor Job Description
Lead daily manufacturing operations while managing production schedules, inventory, and material flow to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time customer delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and team members.
- Monitor production schedules and prioritize daily workload.
- Ensure materials and inventory are available for uninterrupted production.
- Track key performance indicators including safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
- Communicate production and inventory status to management and incoming shifts.
- Ensure production schedules are met safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability.
- Lead production start-ups, changeovers, and shift activities.
- Track production, quality, and delivery performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot production and material flow issues.
- Coach, train, and develop production employees.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Shipping, and Production teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Drive process improvements and waste reduction efforts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience with production scheduling, materials, or inventory control preferred
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Work Environment
The role offers two shifts: 1st shift (7AM - 4PM) and 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM). The work environment involves both office and manufacturing floor activities. The position is integral to supporting an expansion following a successful bid with Toyota. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
