The Best Deserve the Best: A-Level Technicians Wanted

Pride Motor Group is looking for A-level technicians for our Chevrolet store in Lynn: the people other technicians call over when a car has already stumped everyone else. Master-level certification is what gets you in the door, from any manufacturer. GM credentials are a strong plus, but we care more about what you can actually diagnose and fix than which brand's patch is on your shirt.

We built this posting specifically for A-techs because you shouldn't have to read a generic "experienced technician" ad and wonder if it's beneath you. It isn't written for you. This one is.

Pay & Sign-On Bonus

$50 per hour for fully master-certified GM technicians

$40 per hour for master-level technicians certified in any other brand

Get fully certified to master level in our brands, and we'll pay you the difference, up to $50 per hour. Get certified, get the raise.

Performance bonus on top of your hourly rate: +$3/hour over 40 hours in a week, +$8/hour over 50 hours,

+$20/hour over 60 hours

That means master-level pay can reach $60 to $70 per hour

Example: at $50/hour, a 65-hour week crosses the 60-hour bonus tier (+$20/hour), so every hour that week pays $70. That's $4,550 for the week, before taxes.

Sign-on bonus: $1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 180 days, and $3,000 at your one-year anniversary ($5,000 total)

4 weeks of a 40-hour guarantee while you get settled in

Our Expectations

We take pride in who we are, and in how we hold each other accountable. We expect full commitment to this team.

We're a family, and every one of us is responsible for the people who depend on this shop to make a living. We take

pride in that.

This bonus is real, and it's built to help you make great pay and build a genuinely good life for yourself and your

family. It comes with real standards: hours worked must be hours actually worked, honestly punched, no

exceptions. Falsifying hours means no bonus, and it means disciplinary action.

We demand exceptional experience for our customers, and the way we deliver that is by demanding an exceptional experience for our own staff. High pay. High standards. We take pride in what we do.

Real diagnostics and real repairs. No guessing, fixed right the first time

A real multipoint inspection: a full video, plus a photo or video for every recommended item

Beautiful, accurate documentation on every repair order

Honest time punches and ownership of comebacks, no excuses

A positive, team-first attitude and a genuine commitment to CSI

A clean, organized bay and workstation, always

These expectations are spelled out in full in our Technician Expectations document. You'll sign it as a condition of receiving these wages and bonuses.

Why Pride Motor Group

We're in the business of selling and servicing new and used vehicles while providing an exceptional customer experience, and an A-level technician sets the ceiling for what that experience can be. Pride Motor Group has been a family-owned business for over 40 years. Suzanne Iovanna stepped into ownership unexpectedly in 2014, earned her NADA dealer certification, trained directly with Kia and Hyundai in Korea, and became one of the only women dealer principals in the country. There's real volume and plenty of complex work to keep an A-tech engaged.

Every technician here, including our most experienced, gets a personal coach through our partnership with Car Motivators. For an A-tech, that's less about learning the basics and more about sharpening leadership, mentoring the technicians coming up behind you, and building toward whatever's next in your career.

Culture

Family owned and operated for over 40 years. Suzanne Iovanna has run Pride Motor Group since 2014, when she stepped in unexpectedly and became one of the few women dealer principals in the country. That same grit and family-first mindset runs through the shop, not just the showroom

Actively involved in the Lynn community: My Brother's Table of Lynn, Girls Inc of Lynn, local youth sports,

and proud members of the Lynn Chamber of Commerce

Personal, one on one coaching is available for all staff through our partnership with Car Motivators, a

dedicated performance coach who is in your corner, not just a manager checking boxes

A real promote from within track record. Hiring decisions are made by the people you'll actually work for, not a distant HR office, because our department heads want to see you move up

Diagnose and repair the most complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues in the shop

Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools, wiring diagrams, and technical service bulletins
