T&G Specialist

Creative Environments is seeking an experienced Tongue & Groove (T&G) Painting Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in producing high-quality finished work and understands the level of detail required in luxury residential environments.

Experience: 3+ years required
Position: Full-Time
Work Environment: Field / Residential Construction

Position Responsibilities

- Install tongue-and-groove wood products on ceilings, walls, patio structures, and other architectural features

- Perform detailed interior and exterior painting, staining, sealing, and finishing

- Complete surface preparation, sanding, masking, touch-ups, and final detailing

- Read plans, layouts, and field dimensions to ensure accurate installation

- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas

- Protect finished surfaces and surrounding customer property

- Identify quality issues and complete punch-list corrections

- Coordinate with Construction Managers and other field teams to meet project schedules

- Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials

Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with tongue-and-groove installation and professional painting/finishing

- Strong carpentry and finish-work skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Reliable transportation

- Dependable, punctual, and professional

- Ability to work safely and maintain a clean jobsite

- Comfortable working in high-end residential environments
