The Senior Pricing Analyst serves as a lead financial analyst for major customer and business development opportunities, providing strategic pricing recommendations that drive profitable growth and support the company's commercial objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, advanced analytical and modeling skills, and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Strategic Pricing
Use complex financial models that evaluate revenue, margin, cost assumptions, return on investment, and overall P&L impact.
Analyze profitability of proposed customer agreements and identify key risks, opportunities, and financial trade-offs.
Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and competitive pricing evaluations to support commercial decision-making.
Recommend pricing structures and commercial solutions that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer value.
Pricing Models, Processes & Governance
Develop pricing approaches that align with evolving customer requirements and market conditions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create customized pricing solutions that support growth objectives while maintaining profitability targets.
Partner with Sales and Operations teams to support customer negotiations, contract renewals, and strategic pursuit
Market Intelligence & Performance Monitoring
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, cost drivers, and market dynamics to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
Perform customer, lane, product, and market profitability analyses to improve business performance.
Utilize historical data, operational metrics, and customer trends to support strategic recommendations.
Support margin enhancement initiatives and profitability improvement programs across the organization.
Process Improvement and Analytics
Develop and maintain pricing models, dashboards, and analytical tools that improve pricing accuracy and efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes and implement best practices.
Support ongoing development of pricing methodologies, and reporting capabilities.

Facilitate data gathering and stakeholder discussions to support informed pricing decisions.
Build strong partnerships across the organization to drive alignment on pricing strategies and business objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required;
At least three years of experience in financial modeling, financial analysis, pricing, or related field
A combination of education and work experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Competent in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with high level of Excel proficiency (e.g., complex formulas, scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and large-scale data manipulation).
Excellent analytical abilities with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong project management skills with creativity, and innovation
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week for local candidates. Remote option available for non‑local applicants.

Salary budget: $75,000 - $95,000 annually plus 10% incentive target.
