Our business across Balclutha, Milton and Clydevale has grow n significantly, supported by a committed local team and strong connections with the rural communities we serve.
We are now establishing South Otago as a standalone VetSouth Hub , with dedicated local leadership to support its future. The appointment of our first South Otago Hub Manager is an important first step.
We’re looking for a commercially minded peo ple l eader who can help establish the new Hub, build o n what is already working and shape how South Otago develops from here.
Thi s is a senior leade rship role w ith genuine breadth. You’ll lead through others, take ownership of Hub per formanc e and work closely with clinical, operational and functional leaders to turn strategy into results.
What you will do
As Hu b Manager, you'll provide overall leadership acros s our Balclu tha, Milt on and Clydevale clinics and be the key connection between the South Otag o Hub, the wider VetSouth region and Comhla Group.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Hub leadership team.
- Take ownership of the Hub’s commercial and financial performance.
- Translate regional strategy into clear plans and measurable Hub outcomes.
- Partner with clinical leaders to deliver strong people, client, clinical and business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen services, improve performance and support sustainable growth.
- Lead change and help establish South Otago as a strong, connected Hub.
What you will bring
You'll be a capable people leader who knows how to bring people with you while delivering strong business outcomes.
You will have :
- Proven leadership experience with accountability for people and business performance.
- Strong commercial and financial capability.
- A track record of developing leaders and building high-performing teams.
- Confidence leading change, improvement and growth.
- Strong judgement, communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in a multi-site, service-based, healthcare, veterinary, rural or agribusiness environment would be advantageous , but we’re more interested in your leadership capability and potential than your sector background.
