Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Understand the histories, the practices, assess the strengths and opportunities of the current operation strategies and executions to join strategy definition in site-level and deploy to department goal and plans

- Initiate organization activities in line with business strategy to develop simple, efficient capable organization in Mars way

- Ensure operations to meet supply demand request.

- Work with Safety Committee to ensure safety compliance, promote safety culture and establish safety working environment for all associates

- Produce high quality products with guidance of Mars QMP system and local regulations

- Deliver on time service with cooperation with cross-functional teams

- Embed MSE system and tools to drive continuous productivity improvement.

- Drive PDCA improvement cycle for business results and capability grow.

- Accountable for MCC (from raw material to finished product), manage the supply operation budget, ensure budget implementation in cost efficiency way

- Drive energy saving to realize SiG

- Recruit develop associates in Mars ways to build up healthy talent pipeline.

- Develop and maintain work atmosphere with trust, innovation, teamwork, high morale associate’s ownership and accountability to cultivate associates engagement.

- Operation system/standard build maintain and continuous optimization.

- Work with technical team to ensure equipment reliability.

- Works with factory management team with effective communication to collaborate with each other to achieve factory goals.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree required in Science or Engineering
- Formal training or certification in 6-sigma (Black Belt), or TPM, or Lean.
- 8+ years of Supply Chain experience in a food or other FMCG manufacturing facility
- Minimum 3 years in factory as manufacturing manager for a large production/manufacturing operation
- Experience of leading a large production operation and being part of the factory leadership team
- Experience with facilitating and training various teams on continuous improvements.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and recommendations to senior management
- Strong business acumen built through cross functional team a factory assignments
- Developing relationships with peers and front-line associates
- Incumbent needs to understand the mechanical operation, industrial safety, the Manufacturing Resource Planning II (MRPII). Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP and WQMS.
