Who we are

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2014, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, who is responsible for design and developing backend solutions as a whole in complex project environments (e.g., transformational programs).

What You’ll Be Doing

- Work together with our highly skilled international development teams to build and maintain features of our Applications and Systems

- Ensure proper performance and quality of the written code and continuously participate in code reviews

- Write unit tests for robustness, edge cases and general reliability

- Write code in compliance with our coding standards and security mechanisms

- Continuously collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, designers and QA team in an agile environment

- Participate in developer guilds and enjoy learning/sharing knowledge with the team

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field

- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in designing and developing backend solutions

- For the Frontend side: experience with Angular (especially 20+ and signals) + Typescript

- Ability to get familiar with complex architectures by yourself and work agile beyond Jira/Scrum stack, don't depend on stories -> Proactivity and communication

- Experience with Toolchain: Java, Git, VSCode, CI, Mac, Windows

- For the Backend side, programming experience: fluent in building RESTful APIs in either: Java with Spring Boot & Spring Security, or Node.js with Express & TypeScript

- Containers & Cloud: Experience building containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes) and/or cloud native microservices

- Databases: Comfortable with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)

- Tooling: Working knowledge of Maven, Webpack, Postman, OpenAPI specifications, and testing frameworks for unit/integration testing

- Security & Auth: Familiarity with OAuth2 flows and secure API practices
