Salary : Php 70,000 to Php 85,000

Working Hours : Aligned with AU Business Hours

Work Type : Independent Contractor

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The company is a leading automotive service and repair center, delivering high-quality general mechanical repairs, tyre services, brakes, and routine maintenance to the local community. Operating across a multi-site network—comprising two service locations and an aligned vehicle dealership—the business relies on operational precision and seamless back-office support. Headed by the Franchise Owner/Manager, the organization is built on quality workmanship, trust, and exceptional service delivery.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Data Entry & Office Administrator to support our growing operational footprint from a remote capacity. Working closely with the Franchise Owner/Manager, you will serve as a foundational back-office anchor, ensuring exact data input, core systems upkeep, and operational synchronization across sites.

This is a long-term placement tailored for an administrative professional who thrives in structured environments, values step-by-step masterclass training, and brings prior exposure to the automotive sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Data Entry & System Administration : Execute precise, high-volume day-to-day data entry into the store's central point-of-sale system, Marlin (Megabus), via a remote desktop connection.
- Financial & Bookkeeping Suppor t: Assist with routine financial matching and Xero bank reconciliations in coordination with the business's external accounting partner.
- Progressive Operational Support : Gradually assume broader administrative responsibility under direct mentorship from the Owner, expanding your scope as system mastery builds.
- Customer & Social Touchpoints : Monitor incoming social media comments and engagement across store platforms, escalating inquiries or maintaining brand presence where appropriate.
- System Compliance & Security : Adhere strictly to secure IT protocols, including IP-whitelisted network environments and routine multi-factor authentication steps.

Requirements

- Automotive Industry Background : Prior experience in an automotive setting (e.g., auto repair workshop reception, tyre outlet, dealership operations, or auto parts procurement) is strongly required.
- Data Precision : Proven track record of high-accuracy data entry, attention to detail, and methodical work habits.
- Technical Aptitude : Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to quickly learn proprietary, desktop-based POS systems (Marlin / Megabus experience is a major plus, but adaptability to non-standard software is key).
- Communication & Software Proficiency : Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and enterprise communication suites within a head-office framework.

PREFERRED:

- Hands-on experience performing bank reconciliations within Xero.
- Prior background navigating desktop systems via remote-desktop/VPN connection environments.
- Practical experience monitoring or moderating social media channels for small-to-medium retail or service businesses.

What You’ll Bring:

- Patience & Growth Mindset : Comfort with a long-term, step-by-step onboarding process (ramp-up is expected to take 6 to 12 months) and a commitment to mastering tasks progressively.
- Long-Term Commitment : High reliability and loyalty—you are looking for a stable, long-term home where personal investment in your training is matched by your dedication to stay the course.
- Trust & Discretion : Complete integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial, store, and customer data.
- Resilience & Self-Management : Ability to work autonomously from home while maintaining consistent output and clear communication with on-site management.
