About this role

Accountabilities

- Proofread educational content thoroughly for spelling, grammar, punctuation, accuracy, consistency, and overall quality.

- Review web content and PDF materials side by side to identify discrepancies, omissions, formatting issues, and inconsistencies.

- Clearly document and communicate identified errors or issues to the appropriate team members.

- Collaborate with curriculum designers and project managers to resolve content issues and support project timelines.

- Maintain a consistently high standard of accuracy across assigned materials.

- Organize and prioritize proofreading assignments to meet weekly project deadlines.

- Work independently while maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders throughout each project.

Requirements

- Previous proofreading or editing experience is required.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to reviewing written content.

- Strong command of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and content consistency.

- Ability to compare multiple versions or formats of content and identify even subtle discrepancies.

- Strong written communication skills and the ability to communicate issues clearly and constructively.

- Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheets .

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and reliably meet recurring weekly deadlines.

- Comfortable collaborating remotely with curriculum, content, and project management teams.

- Availability to work up to 10 hours per week , with the potential for additional hours depending on project requirements.

- Ability to maintain consistent quality while working within project deadlines.

- A perfectionist mindset and genuine commitment to producing polished, error-free content are highly valued.
