About this role
We are looking for an Operations Officer to join our BUX team based in Amsterdam .
In this role, you will offer key support to the Operations team with all the daily operational tasks, and you will contribute to a wide variety of development projects.
Within our team of 6, you will be trained to gain a strong fundamental understanding of the financial industry, saving products, concepts and processes in a broad sense.
The job is full-time (40 hours per week) and mostly requires working from the office.
What you will do
- Monitor and process corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, etc
- Manage and process internal payments and accounts
- Reconcile (align) trades, positions and cash balances
- Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks
- Provide trade support to the first line of defence
- Communicate and collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, business intelligence, finance and customer support
- Design new processes and reporting procedures for the savings proposition
- Refine or automate daily operational processes
What you need to succeed
- Ability to work in a team
- Eye for detail and quality-driven mindset
- Between 0-2 years of experience in financial operations
- Ability to work with Excel/spreadsheets
- Experience in Python or SQL is a plus
- Previous experience working in the financial services industry (banking or payments also works) is a plus
- Based in the Netherlands and willing to work from our office in Amsterdam
