Baptist Downtown is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Main Operating Room team . This is a full-time day shift opportunity.
Assistant Nurse Manager, Job Responsibilities:
- Providing nursing care to patients on the unit
- The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments.
- Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff
- Monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget
- Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews
- Facilitates any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current
- Is able to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulating
- Experience Requirements:
- 2 Years Operating Room Nursing Experience required.
- Education & Credential Requirements:
- Associate of Science Degree, Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
