Accountabilities
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of HR data architecture, integrations, data pipelines, and data flows across HR systems, analytics platforms, and reporting tools.
- Partner with internal and external HR data specialists and technology teams to ensure workforce data is accurate, consistent, reliable, and fit for analytical and reporting purposes.
- Maintain HR data quality and governance through audits, validation processes, data cleansing, data dictionaries, KPI definitions, standards, and comprehensive documentation.
- Manage data models, ETL processes, data feeds, and system integrations supporting HR reporting, analytics, and operational processes.
- Support the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of HR information systems and people analytics platforms.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data solutions that make workforce information more accessible, understandable, and actionable.
- Implement and maintain appropriate data privacy, confidentiality, security, and regulatory compliance practices for sensitive employee information.
- Collaborate with People Insights business partners to understand requirements and recommend scalable data, reporting, and technology solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, system enhancements, industry trends, and evolving HR data management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Analytics, HRIS, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, analytics infrastructure, or a related discipline, including demonstrated success improving data quality and management practices.
- 3+ years of experience working with HR systems and platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, One Model, or comparable solutions, including ETL processes, data integrations, and relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of data quality management, governance, validation, privacy, and security practices, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and managing complex datasets, along with experience using Python, R, or other data engineering and transformation technologies.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, communicate technical concepts clearly, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Experience in HR, People Analytics, or workforce analytics, including familiarity with HR metrics, workforce analytics, and employee data structures, is a plus.
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional data quality initiatives and operational deliverables is desirable.
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Power Query, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage detail-oriented work while maintaining a broader business perspective.
- A master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, HRIS, or Business Analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud data environments, data warehousing, data modeling, enterprise analytics platforms, automation, workflow optimization, metadata management, and enterprise data governance is beneficial.
- Experience supporting HR technology transformations, system implementations or enhancements, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Kanban is valued.
