Job Title: Recruiter Job Description As a recruiter, you will serve as a strategic hiring expert and partner to hiring managers and business unit leaders. You will work closely with hiring managers to determine the requirements and expectations for open positions and identify the qualities of their ideal candidates. Your role will involve managing the full hiring lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening to extending offers, and screening candidates for open roles while guiding them through the interview process. A key part of your responsibilities will be building a diverse pipeline of talent, including passive candidates, through sourcing, cold calling, phone screens, and networking. Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic hiring expert and partner to hiring managers and business unit leaders.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine the requirements and expectations for their open positions.
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening to extending offers.
- Screen candidates for open roles and guide them through the interview process.
- Build a diverse pipeline of talent, including passive candidates, through sourcing, cold calling, phone screens, and networking.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) to build reports and analyze key metrics on recruiting activities to drive process improvements.
- Travel as needed to support hiring efforts at other sites, including Launch Complex 3 in Wallops Island, VA, and Space Structures Complex in Middle River, MD.
Essential Skills
- 2 to 5 years of recruiting experience, specifically in aviation recruiting.
- Experience in Veteran or A/D recruiting is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of full-time, full-cycle recruiting experience for a TA Partner II role.
- 5+ years of full-time, full-cycle recruiting experience for a TA Partner I role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of full-time recruiting experience is preferred.
- Agency and in-house recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for high-volume nonexempt roles and/or engineering roles such as production, manufacturing, test, mechanical, electrical, systems, propulsion, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting high-performing teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with hiring managers at all levels, as well as candidates and external partners.
- Previous experience sourcing for highly technical and niche roles.
Work Environment The recruiter will be based in a trailer and will occasionally visit various bases, with travel required about once a month (25%). The recruiting manager is flexible and easy-going. This position requires being on-site five days a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middle River, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $52.88/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
