About this role

Accountabilities:

- Drive business development and lead-generation activities by reviewing client databases, identifying inactive opportunities, and conducting outreach to revive dormant leads before transitioning qualified relationships to transition sales consultants.

- Support clients throughout the practice transition lifecycle, including valuation, listing and sale activities, due diligence, buyer financing needs, and closing, while communicating the overall value of the transition process.

- Partner with regional sales managers and transition consultants to organize seller, buyer, lender, dental association, study club, and other market-facing seminars, coordinating promotional materials and digital outreach.

- Maintain strong communication with valuation and transition coordinators, buyers, sellers, business advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure information is transferred accurately and transaction timelines remain on track.

- Enhance the practice valuation experience by interviewing clients, gathering required financial and operational information, following up on outstanding questions, and serving as a liaison between clients, advisors, and internal teams.

- Support practice listings and closings by maintaining accurate practice profiles, monitoring closing checklists, coordinating purchase agreements and documentation, and identifying potential deal issues early.

- Develop relationships with prospective buyers by conducting initial outreach and intake, collecting and managing confidentiality agreements, understanding geographic and practice preferences, assessing experience and financial needs, and setting realistic expectations for the current transition market.

- Assess buyer capital requirements and coordinate introductions to appropriate preferred lenders, educating buyers on lender prequalification and financing considerations.

- Drive awareness for active practice listings through email campaigns, classified advertising, local digital marketing, social media, Canva, and other promotional channels, while adjusting marketing strategies for new and stagnant listings.

- Support regional initiatives through training, team calls, special sales projects, and other activities that strengthen communication, collaboration, and overall sales effectiveness.

Requirements:

- Bring typically 2–4+ years of related professional experience with a bachelor's degree , or approximately 6+ years of related sales, sales support, or professional experience with a high school education .

- Hold a bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related discipline; sales-focused education or training is preferred.

- Demonstrate working knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI, CRM dashboards, and related business systems , with the ability to use data and technology to support sales activities.

- Possess strong project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders while keeping client relationships, deliverables, and timelines moving forward.

- Demonstrate strong listening and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand client feedback, build trust, and translate business needs into appropriate transition solutions.

- Have working knowledge of strategic lending partnerships, referral networks, and market relationships that can support buyer and seller engagement.

- Understand financial statements, including business tax returns and profit-and-loss statements, with sufficient financial acumen to assess cash flow and adjusted EBITDA targets.

- Understand basic lender underwriting criteria and credit requirements relevant to dental practice transitions, with the ability to assess buyer financing needs appropriately.

- Be proficient in developing advanced PowerPoint presentations and Excel workbooks , including materials intended for senior leadership.

- Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, public-speaking, interpersonal, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with established business processes and systems, and developing professional credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Be available to work the position's standard schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time , despite the role being fully remote.

- Be willing to travel occasionally, typically less than 10% .

- Base salary: $56,604–$88,443 USD, depending on factors such as experience, education, certifications, skills, location, labor market, and internal equity.
