seeking an Aerospace Physiology Specialist at the NASA Johnson Space Center
(JSC) in Houston, TX.

What You’ll Do:

Radiology Technologist performs routine and
complex studies and assists physician in a variety of imaging procedures.
Responsible for the independent operation of diagnostic equipment to create
necessary images and obtain measurements. Individual must maintain a high
degree of accuracy in positioning technique. Communicates with the patient
and relays any pertinent information to the physician and documents
appropriately. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality
control procedures.

- Responsible
for compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan; must be
committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply
with all safety laws and all of the Company's safety policies and rules
and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety
violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel

What You Bring:

Strong clinical
judgment and experience in radiology to execute independent operation of
diagnostic equipment to create necessary images and obtain measurements

Requirements

Your Qualifications:

- Bachelor
of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current,
unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State
of Texas or a current multistate/compact RN license recognized by Texas.

Required Skills/Training:

- Graduate
of an accredited School of Radiology Technologist
- 3-5-year
experience in performing radiology procedures preferred
- Basic
BLS from an AHA provider
- American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Other
imaging abilities are a plus

What to Expect

This position is expected to support
radiology as needed to fill in for X-ray technologist when vacations or other
lost work time events occur. Most needs will be communicated well
in advance of the event.
