About this role

The Sales Administrator plays a crucial support role within the sales department by managing administrative tasks, streamlining processes, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, the sales team, and internal departments. This individual helps drive sales productivity and customer satisfaction by handling proposals, CRM updates, scheduling, contract coordination, and follow-up activities.

What Youll Do

- Serve as the administrative backbone for the sales team by managing CRM data entry, updates, and reporting.

- Coordinate client communications, appointment scheduling, and follow-up tasks.

- Assist with proposal creation, contract tracking, and document management.

- Collaborate with internal departments (Legal, Operations, Marketing) to support the sales lifecycle.

- Provide independent judgment in assessing the viability of leads and accounts in various stages of the sales process.

- Generate regular reports on pipeline activity and team performance metrics.

- Maintain organization of sales enablement materials, client databases, and presentation templates.

- Support travel coordination and expense tracking for the sales team.

- Provide excellent internal and external customer service.

Qualifications

What You Need

- 2+ years of experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer-facing role.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in a B2B environment, preferably in finance, tech, or auto-related industries

- Familiarity with proposal software or e-signature platforms

- Working knowledge of sales reporting or analytics tools

- Associate's or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field

Physical Requirements

- Sitting for long periods of time.

- Staring at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
