Your programme

We are recruiting for   two exciting graduate opportunities   within our Commercial Operations team:

- Graduate Construction Contract Specialist

- Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Both roles offer the chance to develop your career while supporting the delivery of major infrastructure and capital investment projects across Anglian Water's investment programme.   You'll   work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and build the skills needed for a successful career within the construction and infrastructure sector.

Graduate Construction Contract Specialist

As a Graduate Construction Contract Specialist,   you'll   support the commercial and contractual management of complex infrastructure projects. This role provides exposure to contract management, commercial strategy, procurement, risk management, dispute avoidance, and construction law.

Working with experienced contract specialists,   you'll   assist   in the drafting, review,   negotiation   and administration of a wide range of agreements, including NEC contracts, framework agreements, development   agreements   and other specialist construction contracts.   You'll   gain valuable experience in contract governance, commercial risk assessment, procurement activities, stakeholder engagement, and resolving contractual challenges, while developing your legal,   commercial   and analytical skills.

We're   looking for graduates who are curious,   motivated   and keen to learn, with   strong communication , analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You will hold, or be on track to achieve, a degree in Law, Construction Law or a related discipline and have an interest in pursuing a career in contract management within the construction and infrastructure sector.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor,   you'll   play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of construction and infrastructure projects.   You'll   gain practical experience in commercial management, cost control, procurement, contract   administration   and project reporting.

Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals,   you'll   support activities such as valuations, cost forecasting, subcontractor   management   and financial performance monitoring. This role will help you develop strong technical, commercial and stakeholder management skills while building a solid foundation for a career in quantity surveying.

We're   looking for enthusiastic graduates with strong numerical, analytical and communication skills who are eager to learn and develop their careers. You will hold, or be on track to achieve, a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction,   engineering   or commercial discipline.
