Your programme

Y ou   will   work w ithin the P olicy and   Public A ffairs   teams   a s part of the   Corporate Affairs   di rect orate .   R espo nsib ili ties   will   vary but   are li kely to   include :

- P oli cy   and   po litical resear ch   and insight .   Monitoring   and summari sing   parliamentary activity, government   announcements   and wider policy developments.

- D raftin g internal   briefings a nd ext er nal e ngagem ent documents .   Fo r exampl e,   update s on   poli tical and   policy   announcem ents,   responses to   gover nment and parl iamentar y   con sultatio n s .

- Stakeho lder eng agement sup port.   Assisting   with the preparation and   follow ‑ up   for meetings ,   for   example   by resear ching MP s’ intere sts, or   dr afting   key   message s.

- Po licy analysi s and   posit ion developme nt.   Work ing   with col leagu es   to   devel op   compa ny positio ns on e merging   gover nment poli cies,   including   develop ing the ev ide nce   base   to unders tand the   im plicatio ns   of   different opti ons.

For this role,   you’ll   need to have obtained in the last 3 years or be studying towards a minimum 2:2 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the 2027 intake.
