Medical Assistant - Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our physical therapy team in delivering exceptional patient care. You will play a vital role in preparing treatment areas, ensuring equipment readiness, and assisting patients throughout their therapy sessions. Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for physical therapy sessions.
- Clean and sanitize rooms between patient visits.
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas.
- Observe and assist with basic exercises under the direction of a Physical Therapist (non-clinical).
- Maintain clinic organization and ensure patient readiness.
- Enhance the patient experience and support efficient patient throughput.

Essential Skills

- Customer service expertise.
- Knowledge in health and wellness.
- Familiarity with exercise science.
- Interest in physical therapy.
- Experience or familiarity with physical therapy exercises.
- Background in gym setting or health.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgewater, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
