Quicksilver Express Courier is an on-demand delivery company looking to hire a full time Freight Dispatcher Coordinator.

This is not an entry-level or customer support position . You will be responsible for managing a fleet, adjusting routes in real time, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Dispatch and coordinate daily routes for a local fleet
- Build efficient routes and adjust based on real-time conditions
- Manage multiple drivers handling time-sensitive deliveries
- Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues quickly
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on freight movement and dock schedules
- Prioritize urgent shipments and maintain service levels
- Track shipments and maintain accurate system updates
- Ensure driver productivity and route efficiency
- Coach new drivers as part of their on-the-job training, providing additional instruction and guidance.
Requirements (Must Have):
- Previous freight dispatch or logistics coordination experience
- Experience managing multiple drivers/routes simultaneously
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Clear communication with drivers and operations teams
- Familiarity with the Phoenix metro area
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred:
- Experience freight dispatching local delivery or courier drivers
- Background in time-sensitive or same-day logistics
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Strong knowledge of the metro and surrounding areas
- Background experience in a dispatch environment with problem resolution skills
- Exhibit a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
- Ability to Multi-task
- Must be reliable and punctual - maintain excellent attendance
- Basic computer skills -- will use windows-based software
- Basic to advanced typing skills - Minimum 34 words per minute
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
PREVIOUS DISPATCH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
