About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support and execute a broad range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational support. As a key member of the HR team, you will lead recruitment efforts, manage onboarding and offboarding programs, support benefits and payroll administration, ensure compliance with employment laws, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle

- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer administration.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding programs to ensure successful employee integration.
- Lead offboarding activities, including exit documentation and separation processes.

HR Operations & Administration

- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HRIS.
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination.
- Assist with payroll-related processes by ensuring employee data accuracy and responding to payroll inquiries.
- Administer workers' compensation and leave-related processes as required.

Employee Relations & Compliance

- Serve as a primary HR resource for employee and manager questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Provide HR support in both English and Spanish.
- Assist with employee relations matters and help ensure fair, consistent application of company policies.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Maintain employee handbook content and HR policies to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.

Performance & Employee Engagement

- Support performance review cycles and performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building programs.
- Help foster an inclusive, positive, and high-performing workplace environment.

Reporting & Analytics

- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics related to recruiting, retention, turnover, engagement, and other key people metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership to support business objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5+ years of HR Generalist or related human resources experience.
- Demonstrated experience in: Full-cycle recruiting
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Benefits administration
- Payroll support
- Workers' compensation
- Employee relations
- HRIS administration
- Performance management

- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting audits, documentation, and policy administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable HR certification.
- Experience within manufacturing, life sciences, biotechnology, or highly regulated industries.
- Experience developing HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
- Expirience supporting employee engagement and recognition programs.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
