About this role

Customer Operations Account Manager – Fort Worth

About American Diamond Logistics

American Diamond Logistics (ADL) is a fully licensed domestic and international 3PL specializing in FTL, LTL, flatbed, refrigerated, open deck, intermodal, and drayage.

We’ve built our business by getting back to the basics - treating people the right way and executing at a high level on every shipment, supported by a growing tech stack.

As we expand, we’re building a team that operates with urgency, accountability, and a  “Whatever it Takes”  mentality to deliver for our customers.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional sales-driven Account Manager role.

This is a  customer operations–focused position  responsible for owning the day-to-day execution, service experience, and ongoing support of key accounts.

As a foundational hire in ADL’s expansion, you’ll work directly alongside leadership to help build the operational backbone of the division - ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-level service while supporting long-term account growth.

You’ll be the bridge between the customer and internal teams, stepping in wherever needed to keep freight moving and relationships strong.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in execution, and don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves when things get challenging, this role offers significant upside and career growth.

What You’ll Own

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, owning day-to-day communication and service execution

- Partner with Sales to support and maintain a portfolio of key customers

- Build and maintain relationships across multiple levels within customer organizations

- Maintain strong visibility into daily shipment activity and proactively address service issues

- Step into execution when needed to ensure loads are covered and service commitments are met

- Work cross-functionally with operations to establish and maintain SOPs and customer-specific KPIs

- Support the bid lifecycle including RFPs, pricing coordination, and contract implementation

- Identify service gaps, process improvements, and opportunities to strengthen customer relationships

- Contribute to building scalable processes and best practices as the ADL Organization grows

What We’re Looking For

- 3–5+ years of experience in transportation/logistics (3PL experience strongly preferred)

- Strong operational understanding of how freight moves (not just customer-facing experience)

- Proven ability to manage both  customer relationships and execution responsibilities

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay composed under pressure

- Excellent communication skills - clear, responsive, and solution-oriented

- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability

- Comfortable operating in an evolving, build-from-scratch environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)

- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Why This Role

- Direct exposure to leadership and real-time decision-making

- Ability to shape service standards, processes, and customer experience

- Clear path for growth as the office scales

- Competitive base salary with long-term upside
