Job Title: Industrial Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team, offering a hybrid work schedule of three days onsite and two days remote. The role involves the development and industrialization of manufacturing processes within assigned projects, including the planning, procurement, and implementation of required manufacturing resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and industrialize manufacturing processes for assigned projects.
- Plan, procure, and implement necessary manufacturing resources such as machines, fixtures, and tools.
- Calculate manufacturing costs, including injection molding and assembly.
- Support Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (P-FMEA).
- Create process flow charts and production layouts for New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Create production-related views in SAP, including routing, BOM, equipment, work center, and calculation.
- Collaborate with local production Industrial Engineers to analyze capacity impacts and estimate investment costs.
- Create specifications for required production equipment.
- Participate in the evaluation of concept studies and potential projects for project and location decisions.
- Drive coordination of global change requests.
- Promote further development of product development processes as well as necessary methods and standards.
- Proactively communicate with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
- Participate in the active transfer of knowledge in the global operational environment and at interfaces.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years engineering work experience in a related industry.
- At least 2 years of experience with injection molding product methodology.
- Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles.
- Proficient computer skills, including Windows-based applications and AutoCAD.
- Excellent written, oral, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of important quality control (QC) principles.
- Knowledge of project management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or comparable specialized training preferred.
- Extensive relevant experience and proven expertise may substitute for the required degree.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Open to some travel, including international travel.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
