About this role
Estimator I is responsible for quoting repeat designs or stock-like designs. (Mostly air receivers or storage tanks), can quote to data sheets or small spec jobs (10 pages or less), and will be learning about fabrication times and ASME code requirements.
Estimator II is responsible for quoting intermediate designs (quote from scratch with no reference design; includes air receivers, water tanks, oil seps, water, etc). Can quote medium sized spec jobs (100 pages or less) and, has a solid working knowledge of shop fabrication hours and ASME code requirements.
Estimator III is responsible for quoting complex designs (DOT, PVHO, oil and gas, RNG, pharmaceutical). Can quote full spec jobs (Several hundred page specs) and has full working knowledge of shop fabrication hours and ASME code requirements.
