Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Job Description The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in managing customer accounts, preparing and closing sales, and ensuring accurate order processing. This position requires 1–2 years of sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You will build and maintain customer relationships, support repeat business, and collaborate with a small sales team in an office-based setting. Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute customer quotes in the system, negotiate pricing, and confidently close deals.
- Process customer orders accurately and generate all required paperwork for warehouse shipping, including delivery and pick-up orders.
- Follow established company protocols for order processing, documentation, and record keeping.
- Consistently follow up on previous quotes and maintain regular, professional communication with customers.
- Research and develop new customers by identifying prospects online through tools such as search engines and industry directories.
- Collect customer payments, including credit card and cash transactions, with high accuracy and accountability.
- Maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve shared sales targets and service goals.
- Manage multiple quotes, follow-ups, and orders simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
- 1–2 years of sales experience in inside sales, retail sales, or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to convert quotes into sales.
- Excellent phone etiquette and clear, professional verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple quotes, follow-ups, and orders with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and comfort working in digital systems.
- Reliable and punctual work habits, with the ability to follow established protocols and procedures.
- Customer service skills with a strong personality and persistence in sales interactions.
- Accurate handling of customer payments and related documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using CRM systems is preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a strong plus.
- Experience in customer service, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Comfort working in a family-oriented, stable business environment.
Work Environment This is a full-time, in-office position with standard hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will work as part of a close-knit sales team of approximately six people in a professional office environment. The role involves frequent phone and computer use, collaboration with colleagues, and coordination with warehouse staff for order fulfillment. The workplace offers a stable, family-owned business atmosphere where teamwork and reliability are highly valued.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.23 - $19.23/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
