Your Impact

As Vice President of Sales, you will play a critical role in driving the continued growth and market leadership of Sunlight Batteries USA. You will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate revenue growth across key industrial sectors.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will lead a high-performing sales organization focused on delivering exceptional customer value while advancing Sunlight's position as a trusted provider of innovative energy storage solutions. Your leadership will influence business strategy, foster a culture of accountability and performance, and contribute directly to the organization's long-term success.

What You'll Do

- Develop and execute the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a national sales organization, creating a culture focused on customer success, accountability, and results.

- Establish annual sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.

- Strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, OEMs, and other strategic stakeholders.

- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product Management, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.

- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies that enhance long-term business growth.

- Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to evaluate performance, manage pipeline activity, and improve forecasting accuracy.

- Lead contract negotiations and support major account management activities.

- Represent Sunlight Batteries USA at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and executive-level engagements.

- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including significant experience leading multi-regional or national sales organizations.

- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets in industrial manufacturing, energy storage, battery technology, material handling, power systems, or related industries.

- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic sales plans that deliver sustainable business results.

- Strong leadership capabilities with experience coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams.

- Experience managing large customer relationships and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

- Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable growth strategies.

- Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing sales data, CRM platforms, forecasting tools, and performance metrics to drive decision-making.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive relationship-building abilities.

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.

- Passion for customer success, continuous improvement, and building a high-performance culture.

- Experience in the company's industry or a related market segment.

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
