Position Summary

The SEO Coordinator supports Fleet Farms organic search strategy by optimizing website content, product and category pages, and technical SEO initiatives to improve search visibility, qualified traffic, engagement, and ecommerce performance.

This is a hands-on SEO and ecommerce analytics role for someone who enjoys analyzing data, identifying opportunities, and turning insights into actionable improvements. Youll work closely with eCommerce, Merchandising, Content, Digital Marketing, IT, and Digital Product teams to improve how customers find and interact with Fleet Farm online.

What Youll Do

Search & Content Optimization

- Execute on-page SEO and AEO strategies across product, category, and content pages.

- Conduct keyword research based on customer search behavior and business priorities.

- Optimize metadata, headings, URLs, internal linking, and page content.

- Partner with Merchandising and Content teams to improve product descriptions, buying guides, landing pages, and ecommerce content.

- Support SEO for new products, seasonal assortments, promotions, and site updates.

Analytics & Performance

- Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, engagement, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.

- Use analytics to identify opportunities and diagnose performance issues.

- Build recurring reports and dashboards.

- Translate SEO data into clear recommendations for business partners.

Technical SEO

- Monitor website health and identify issues affecting organic search performance.

- Partner with IT and Digital Product on crawlability, indexing, page speed, structured data, and mobile experience.

- Coordinate the identification and resolution of technical SEO issues.

Search Trends & Emerging Technology

- Stay current on search engine algorithm changes.

- Monitor AI-powered search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

- Evaluate emerging SEO tools and techniques.

- Recommend opportunities to improve organic search and ecommerce performance.

What Youll Bring

- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, eCommerce, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SEO, ecommerce, digital marketing, web analytics, or a related field.

- Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals and search engine best practices.

- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and/or Google Search Console .

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel.

- Experience with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, SEOClarity, Similarweb, or comparable tools is a plus.

- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

- A curious, customer-focused mindset and an interest in understanding why customers search, what they find, and what ultimately drives them to purchase.

Work Location

This is a 100% onsite position at Fleet Farms Store Support Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.

This role works closely with cross-functional teams across Ecommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and Digital Product, making regular onsite collaboration an important part of the position.
