POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under direct supervision, formulate a moderate volume of sump to test
products and collect data for customer delivery. Work with a moderate level
of parts per million (ppm) concentration of salt and up to 500 pounds per
square inch (PSI) for testing product. Ensure accurate test data collected
entered in enterprise software system using basic keyboarding and data
entry. Test non-seawater products.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Formulates a moderate volume of freshwater sump, collects and
measures product samples for percent rejection and flow data. Works
with non-seawater products.

- Ensures data collected is entered in the enterprise software system
is accurate, including but not limited to pH, conductivities and
flow meter readings.

- Runs weekly clean up duty on testing equipment by using acid and
base cleaning products including rinsing equipment.

- Loads/unloads product from manufacturing transport equipment onto
appropriate production equipment for tasks.

- Maintains daily, weekly and monthly productivity goals set by
production management, including clean-up or rework.

- Documents product data information such as serial number, defects,
rejects, scarp etc. on production logs, reports or summaries as
well as any other record keeping activities as it pertains to
products throughout shift.

- Follows all quality, safety and lean manufacturing policies,
processes or procedures including sustaining work station and area
in cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards.

- Informs Production Supervisor and/or Production Lead of increased
pattern of defects in products.

- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

- High school diploma or GED; and 6 months manufacturing experience;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 1-year experience in a manufacturing positon within the
organization; and, 6 months as a Wet Test Tech I.

- Intermediate language skills, including verbal and written
proficiency in English; ability to read work instructions in
English.

- Ability to perform routine mathematical computations with the aid
of a basic hand-held calculator.

- Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large
and/or small team while maintaining flexibility to changing
priorities.

- Must be detail-oriented and able to work in fast
paced-manufacturing environment. Outstanding follow-through to meet
production requirements.

- Deal with standard and basic non-complex issues; basic
problem-solving ability; carry out simple verbal work instructions.

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
