About the Job:

The   Fraud Technology & Risk Consultant   will work within   the Anti-Fraud Department and with business areas across the enterprise to   build and scale fraud   prevention,   detection and automation capabilities that reduce fraud loss, improve detection precision, and enable investigations .

What You'll Do:

Stays abreast of financial   crimes   trends, relevant   regulations   and compliance standards to help ensure   we’re   continually advancing our anti-fraud technology in line with enterprise needs and expectations .

- Improve operational effectiveness and efficiency through scripting and orchestration tools aimed at preventing and detecting fraudulent activity.

- Design, develop, and   maintain   automation scripts and workflows to increase alert quality and reduce manual effort.

- Appl y   new perspectives and creative problem solving to provide strategic and tactical input and   assistance   for the development   and improvement of anti- fraud  capabilities .

- Consult and collaborate with the investigative team   and others as fraud incidents occur to provide technical   expertise ,   guidance   and thought leadership throughout the process.

- Analyze control gaps and breakdowns ,   provide   insights   and recommend   adjustments to detection capabilities .

- Design and develop fraud reports and dashboards   based on department and business client needs.

- Maintain and enhance operational documentation and knowledge base articles

- Partner with   the Asst Director of   Anti-Fraud Technology Integration   to transition new capabilities into operations .

- Use data to   identify   trends and drive improvements .

- Coach,   mentor   and develop peers and provide quality feedback.

- Assist   with incident consulta tion   and support anti-fraud technology projects, as needed.

What Experience You'll Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in   Cyber s ecurity,   information technology,   Computer Science,   business   or related field.

- Minimum of   four to five   years of   professional   experience   required .

- Experience with engineering best practices to include analyzing, designing, developing, and deploying capabilities.

- Excellent judgement, decision-making,   analytical   and interpersonal skills.

- High degree of organizational agility and comfort around senior leadership,   demonstrated   by the ability to influence, negotiate,   communicate   and collaborate with all levels of employees.

- Ability to be responsive to changing business needs, translate product requirements into technical requirements, manage and prioritize concurrent assignments, and handle ambiguity.

- Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements as they apply to financial crimes.

- Experience with development and analytical tools such as   PowerBI ,   MS Excel, and R   is   required ; experience working with Splunk is a plus.

- Working knowledge in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, or Python is an asset.

- Prior experience and knowledge of NM products, services, and organization preferred .

Employs various techniques, such as data analysis, pattern recognition, and the implementation of preventive controls, to safeguard against fraudulent behavior within an organization or system.
- Risk Consulting: Identifies, understands, and facilitates discussions/processes and provides recommendations/resources to manage risk in collaboration with business and process owners. ​
- Interpersonal Savvy: Relates well to all kinds of people inside and outside of the organization. Builds appropriate rapport, constructive and effective relationships. Uses diplomacy and tact and diffuses high-tension situations comfortably.
- Control Analysis: Monitors controls to ensure they are in place, operating as intended, and effective, and then identifies gaps and weaknesses that could result in risks.
- Business Acumen: Applies knowledge of both general and organization-specific business issues/financial implications for the organization to problem solve.
- Data collection & analysis: Gathers, stores, accesses, and uses information collected via quantitative (e.g., surveys or usage data) or qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups, document analysis). Analyzes data to uncover patters and insights to inform business decisions.

$89,440.00 USD - $134,160.00 USD

$93,440.00 USD - $140,160.00 USD
