About this role
Accountabilities:
- Research and develop business intelligence on new and existing accounts to identify relevant sales opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and engage prospective buyers for cloud-based network management software.
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Build rapport with prospects and establish productive relationships through effective communication.
- Deliver compelling and relevant explanations of the product's capabilities and value to prospective customers.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and consistent outreach.
- Achieve monthly targets for qualified opportunities and meetings attended.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the technology solution and effectively communicate its relevance to prospective customers.
- Contribute to the organization's overall growth by creating a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in any field.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, fundraising, or a related customer-facing environment is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive communication style.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and establish credibility with a wide range of people, including senior executives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong internet research and business intelligence skills.
- Passion for learning new concepts quickly and a strong technical aptitude.
- Tenacity, resilience, initiative, and a strong drive to achieve results.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
- Genuine interest in technology and developing a career in B2B sales.
