About this role

Accountabilities

- Drive territory sales and distribution performance by achieving assigned sales targets through field visits, personal selling, and effective execution of the distributor/RS system.

- Manage relationships with distributors and strengthen distribution infrastructure, ensuring the sales network has the capabilities and resources required to deliver business objectives.

- Monitor distributor and sales-team performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, coverage, and customer service.

- Plan sales activities and work with distributors on route-to-market execution, customer management, and opportunities to increase business.

- Use ROI calculations and market performance data to evaluate commercial opportunities and improve the effectiveness of sales investments.

- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand business and improve the competitive position of the territory.

- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback, providing timely insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

- Plan and execute promotional and brand activities within approved budgets, coordinating with internal stakeholders and local channel partners.

- Support distributor appointment and sales planning activities while ensuring consistent execution of commercial strategies across the territory.

Requirements

- Full-time Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

- At least 2 years of experience in channel sales, general trade, distributor management, or a closely related commercial role.

- Strong practical experience in distributor/RS management, including sales planning, performance monitoring, and distribution development.

- Good understanding of ROI calculations and the ability to use commercial data to support decisions and improve sales effectiveness.

- Experience with sales target achievement, market visits, customer management, promotional execution, and channel development.

- Ability to identify infrastructure and performance gaps within a distributor network and take appropriate corrective action.

- Strong understanding of RS appointment processes, sales planning, and general trade operations.

- Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, distributors, and sales teams.

- Good command of English and the relevant local language is preferred.

- A proactive, results-oriented approach with strong ownership of territory performance and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
