About this role
Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable data warehouse solutions using SQL, MySQL, and Vertica.
- Develop complex queries and procedures to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Build and maintain reliable ETL pipelines that move and transform data across multiple systems.
- Use Python to develop data-driven applications, automate recurring tasks, and enhance data processing workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain Airflow-based pipelines to orchestrate data workflows across different systems.
- Optimize data processing workflows and warehouse solutions for scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support data requirements and deliver effective data engineering solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience with SQL, MySQL, and Vertica, including designing and maintaining scalable data warehouse solutions.
- Proven ability to develop complex queries and procedures for ETL and data transformation processes.
- Strong Python skills, particularly for data-driven application development, automation, and workflow enhancement.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to build reliable, scalable data solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and collaborate with distributed technical teams.

- Annual base salary range of USD $104,500 – $174,200 .
